FAQs

What can I expect from the first session?
In our first meeting we will begin with a thorough intake so I can understand what brought you to craniosacral work, your medical history and current concerns.  If you are in-person, you will lie on the massage table, fully clothed.  If you are having a distance session I’ll invite you to be comfortable, whatever that means for you. Craniosacral work is deeply relaxing and most clients feel deeply supported and nurtured by the work.  We will end the session with time to discuss what transpired as well as any homework.

Can I have a session over Zoom or on the phone?
Yes. I offer sessions on Zoom, or on the phone, as well as in-person. Many clients have come to love Distance sessions, some actually prefer it. They find the sessions transformational. An added benefit is that after the session they are already home!

While my hands are not physically on your body, there is a connection that allows for a deep healing process.

How often should I have a session?
Those new to craniosacral work or suffering from a chronic condition (TMJD, back pain, headaches) are best served by committing to a series of six (6) sessions.  From there, we decide together what’s the best schedule moving forward.

What is the investment for a session?
An individual session is $165.00.

Is every session the same?
While the general structure for each session is similar, it depends on what you need.  We begin each session with a check in, which allows us to tailor the session for you.  Come ready to receive what you need that day.

What should I wear if I am coming to see you in person?
When on the table, you are fully clothed, so please wear comfortable clothing.  Yoga clothes work well for craniosacral work. If you are having a distance session, I also recommend comfortable clothing. Please no jeans.

How long is each session?
Sessions are about 75-min.  Give yourself time after a session to fully integrate the work.

Can I go right back to work?
At the end of a session you may feel deeply relaxed so yes you can go back to work, but it is a good idea not to rush to your next activity.  Most clients feel more open and aware after receiving the work.

Who is your ideal client?
My ideal client is ready to heal and engaged in their healing process.  Craniosacral work is not a quick fix.  I recommend 6 sessions to start, to allow yourself to fully experience the long-term benefits..  After that, some clients continue to return for ongoing treatment or regular tune-ups, it really depends on why you are coming in and what your system needs.
